Jumia Gives Its E-commerce Platform a New Look

Jumia has introduced a new look and feel across its e-commerce platforms in eight markets, giving shoppers a cleaner and more intuitive way to browse the site.
The redesign brings together a more streamlined homepage, a simpler category structure and a clearer way of presenting products and promotions. The aim is straightforward: make it easier for shoppers to find what they are looking for and discover more of what is available on Jumia.

A Simpler Way to Browse
One of the most visible changes is the new horizontal category menu below the search bar. Key categories, including Phones, Home Appliances, Fashion, Health & Beauty and others, are now easier to access, allowing shoppers to move between categories more quickly.
The homepage has also been reorganised to create a clearer path through the platform. Products, campaigns and promotions are presented in a more structured way, helping shoppers navigate the site without having to click through multiple layers to find what they need.
The new design also gives Jumia's major commercial moments, including flash sales, brand festivals and clearance events, a more consistent look and feel across the platform.

A New Look, Not a New Platform
The changes are focused on the interface and how information is presented. The core features shoppers use every day remain the same, including account management, the shopping cart, order tracking, customer support and payment options.

The new design is part of Jumia’s continued work to improve the shopping experience across its platforms, while creating a more consistent way for shoppers to browse products, discover offers and navigate the marketplace.
With the new interface now live across Jumia’s eight markets, shoppers can expect a cleaner and more consistent experience wherever they shop on the platform.
"This new interface reflects our commitment to continuously evolving our platform, so we can offer a digital experience that's always simpler, smoother and more intuitive. The goal is to make it easier to access our offering while keeping pace with how digital habits are changing," explains Oumarou Bamba, Head of Traffic Operations Group and CMO of Jumia Senegal.
